Just about 90 miles south of San Fransisco is Salinas when I'm at now. Got here on Tuesday night with my produce load from Yuma AZ. Dropped the trailer and any back about a mile to the pilot and started a reset.
Wednesday was very windy and lots of rain, but it was quite cozy inside the truck with all that bad weather outside. Spent most of the day chilling with Netflix watching season 2 of Blacklist. Yes I'm a Netflix junkie.
Today the weather is much better, the sun is actually shining thru and I'm waiting for a load, empty trailers are available down at Fresh Express soon as I get the preplan.
I've got to the consigne on time today, but didn't help much cause they couldn't unload before they got approval from the customs in Mexico. They speak pretty much only spanish where I was, but they had one guy there they used to translate. Now I'm at the Pilot just 5 miles away waiting until tomorrow, been here all day since 11:00am.
Been killing time on Netflix and internet and the new premium Wi-Fi they offer at pilot and flying j's is pretty good and worth the money. It's alot cheaper than the extra gigabyte att&t adds when you run out.
Now me and my copilot in the picture been out on the road for about two weeks and we got two weeks left before we go home.
We left home on August 13th and since then we've been in PA, NJ, NY, CE, MA, NH, ME, MD, VA, NC, SC, AL, MS LA, TX, AR, MO, IL and IN.
Tonight we are at Wal-Mart DC in Gas City IN, there's one more stop in Pottsville before we start on our next load from Souderton PA to Hickory NC.
Finally ready to pick up my load to Wisconsin for delivery on Saturday. Waited at the pilot for 24 hours. Hopefully they will load me fast so I can get out of here.
