Been busy with lots of small trips lately, now in Des Moines with beer from Budweiser in Fort Collins CO. Trying to get home to 25th so I can get on my plane next day.
Next load now is 300 miles west, yes the opposite way of where I should go. Picking up tomorrow at Tyson and deliver same day at Tyson near Kansas City.
I just called in to check what's next after that and they told me there were some loads to Indiana on Saturday the 22nd. So hopefully I'm back home on 25th.
Haven't been able to post much the last few days cause of my laptop having issues. Keyboard stopped working and even after removing the keyboard one key is still continuously repeating itself so it's not much to do. I suspect it to be a motherboard issue unfortunately.
I delivered a Budweiser load from Fort Collins in Boise on Tuesday then loaded up dairy products from Darigold later that afternoon. With to much time on this trip I decided to just stay overnight on the TA.
Yesterday I drive from Boise down 93 to Las Vegas. I knew the TA there gets full in the early afternoon so I reserved a spot. I usually don't do that, but sometimes you don't have a choice unless you wanna stop earlier and I love Las Vegas.
Delivery appointment is tonight at 2200 in Phoenix and I'm 6 hours away.
I reached Houston today. Was 2 hours short on my hours last night. Appointment at 2100 so no need to rush cause they wouldn't let me in earlier than 2030 anyway. I checked in around that time and was done at 2am. Went a couple of blocks to Budweiser and picked up a preloaded trailer to Wichita Falls. Just parked now on a small shady truckstop across the street from the brewery called Texas truckstop.
Just parked at Pilot on I10 exit 343 in Florida. My last stop on this load is just a few miles away. Had my appointment rescheduled, but not before tomorrow anyway. At least it'll be in the morning and not afternoon. Also got a preplan that will take me back to Budweiser in Jacksonville and back up north on 95 to North Carolina.
