As you can see from the picture Im back at the Knight Terminal in Columbus. My time with Pepsi is officially over. The people working at the Dayton Pepsi plant were all good guys and there were alot of fun going on in the mornings, but the kind of work was not for me. I did however try hard for 6 months to stay there. Being home with family evey night was the only good part about it, but for now its back to Knight trying to do some regional driving that will take me home every weekend.
Another day down at the Pepsi plant. They're all exactly the same except the routes on the board left for me when everyone else have picked theirs.
This week my car's in the shop to replace a broken oil pump so I'm using alternative transportation methods to get here. Because of that I'm down here about an hour earlier than my shift start. Not a problem really, gives me some time to chill out and prepare for the day.
Its been a while since my last update on this blog. I have in the meanwhile changed job and gone through some weeks training for Pepsi. I'm currently working as a swing driver which basically means I will do whatever work Pepsi need done. So everything from store merchandising to delivery driving. Today I was on bulk load which in my opinion is the best you can get. I started at 2am and done around 9am.
