Back to work after some time at home can be hard. The day started chaotic, but turned out pretty good anyway. I was northbound on 65 when I thought it was time to check my clock. Wow only 10 minutes left before my 30 minutes break. Was sure there was gonna be a violation, but 7 minutes ahead was a rest area!
The start of a long line of trucks waiting to get into the MBM warehouse this morning. I showed up thirty minutes before my appointment, but was told to wait somewhere else and they would call me so I did. About an hour later they called and wanted me in door 23. When I got back, the lines were even longer with trucks waiting on the street blocking all traffic. I tried unsuccessfully to get around them and got into trouble with another trucker who screamed and called me everything from a to z, so I backed my truck out. Then I checked my google map and took a loop around the block, came in from the other side. No traffic at all and went right into my assigned door. I smiled and laughed when I saw the grumpy face of the fucktard who screamed at me. Still there waiting in the line.
In the Columbus yard now waiting for my 7am appointment in the morning. Loaded up at Merchandise Warehousing in Indianapolis. Also did my 50,000 miles road check today.
In Kentucky now. Parked at 4pm. Started early this morning, once my load was done. Around 4am. Waited all night for it. Tomorrow there won't be no alarm clock for me! Good night
Got here 1,5 hours before appointment, checked in with the guard and went around the building and delivered my paperwork. On my way back out to wait for my appointment they come after me and said they could unload me right now. Thats awesome, now just waiting for my paperwork which seems to take longer than the unload process lol :)
Got my load from JJ snacks yesterday. Was done loaded and ready to roll 15:35. I arrived at noon, because of roadwork and no right and left turns were allowed I spent about 40 minutes on that last quarter mile which turned into 5 miles. I'm now slightly behind schedule, but not to bad. Shutting down in Brunswick GA. Delivery at 11:00 tomorrow in Orlando, about 4 hours from here.
Time to sleep now, about 30 minutes away from consignee, will be there tomorrow at 9. Then my next load will be picked up in the same area for delivery in Orlando on Friday.
Did my delivery on time. Now I'm at Hans Kissle loading for Donkin Donuts to New Jersey!
Good morning, this is part of my breakfast, there was a youhurt too. Im not much of a big eater in the morning, so this is it. My load will be delivered tomorrow at Methuen MA, only 320 some miles left. Could have drove longer yesterday, but decided to park around 7:30pm here at Flying J on I95 exit 100.
Waited a few hours, then went to sleep. Woke up next morning and load was ready. This is taken on my way out. Now I'm at the Flying J on I95 exit 100. Time for bed..
