Finally at my destination, parked at Loves 16:00 local time. Less than a mile from the receiver. Will deliver tomorrow at 09:00.

I made it to Flying J just outside of Albuerque last night and started there this morning around 7.

Sunday, October 23rd 2016

Started this morning at the Road Ranger in Brazil IN around 0900 and drove down to Troy IL to fuel up then finished my day here at this rest area just an hour east of Oklahoma City.

It was a good Sunday drive with 639 miles and three long breaks. Now it's time for my daily can food dinner.

Saturday, October 22nd 2016

Just arrived, but two hours late. No problem, load was not even ready. Waiting at the dock now.

Dropped the other load this morning at Kraft, stopped by my terminal after to pick up some new trip sheets and a trailer.

Friday, October 21st 2016

Will be shutting down here at the rest area just about an hour east of Columbus. Will deliver early tomorrow, appointment is 15:30, but it's just a drop so I should be good. Maybe time to stop by at home tomorrow after loading in Troy.

Friday, October 21st 2016

Got a late delivery appointment yesterday to Dunkin Donuts for a change. Took my sleeper birth at Bensalem and ordered a pizza. Now at Kraft foods in Allentown to load for Groveport OH.

The receiver is horrible, been there before. May wait up to 12 hours, sometimes more and they don't tell you when your trailer is done unloaded.

Delivery is tomorrow, then of to Troy OH to load for Casa Grande AZ.

Monday, October 10th 2016

Home time is getting closer, just a couple more days or two trips more and I'm home. Just delivered the Hershey load tonight and now outside Walmart doing my sleeper birth.

Picking up a preloaded trailer tomorrow from Fresh express going to Food Lion in Greencastle. It's just 62 miles, but they are paying me $200 for it which is pretty good.

Then back to Hershey to pick up a load to Mississippi, but it will be dropped at the Columbus yard. Then home!

Thursday, October 6th 2016

The Bellingham load was done loaded on the truck at 20:00, so we just waited an hour more and did an 8+2 split then drove about 300 or so miles down to a rest area south of Richland OR.

Next day we was ready to drive around 13:00, but because of the 70 hour limit we didn't get more than 4,5 hours that day so we made it down to Boise. Took a small break there until past midnight, got more hours and drove from there and down to SLC at night. Temperature was all the way down in the low 30s.

Arrived at Albertsons a couple of hours before appointment time, checked in and was done unloaded at 08:00. At the time of arrival the 14 hour limit was done and we spent the remaining hours and completed a 10 hours rest break on a nearby Flying J.

After the rest break we had gained a few more hours to pickup our next load at Hersheys in Ogden. Now shutdown at a Pilot in Evanston WY.

Tuesday, October 4th 2016

Then we are here, but not on time. Appointment was 11:30 and we checked in 12:20. Now it's 15:15 still parked by the curb waiting for a door. The first impression of this place was great, friendly people and ready to check in and get done.

Earlier today we completed the long trip we had from Columbus to Sumner. We was done just in time for me to send in the paperwork so I can get paid for the trip this week. Costco was a nice place, but nothing more. No restrooms and no overnight parking. Just a 2 hour staging area.

The night before we parked at Wal-Mart in Auburn, just 7 miles up north on wa167. Unfortunately Wal-Mart there allows only short time parking like a couple of hours, so we moved over to the outlet parking lot across the street. I was out of hours so I couldn't get far.

After about an hour or maybe less security chased us of there too, but he was friendly enough to tell us about as place where we could park which was just a few hundred feets down the street behind Chevrons.

Then finally it was goodnight!

Thursday, September 29th 2016

Isn't it lovely when you only get 3 hours of sleep and have to use the remaining 7 hours of your sleeper birth to drive in off-duty between two companies and unload.

That's what's happening today and it's not the first time in this company known as Knight Refrigerated. Yesterday I only got 4 hours of sleep when they called me at 03:00 and wanted to unload me.

Later that day I got a new load up to Woodruff in Springfield OH. Was supposed to be ready at 14:00, but dispatch told me I could start at noon. So I did silly me. Load was ready closer to 17:00 then I took of for the 9 hour long drive up to Ohio. Needless to say I was damn tired and only halfway. Driving gets a bit slower when I get tired so I had to drive the last 25 miles on off-duty to make it to the receiver.

So now I'm here still waiting to get done, then I'll pick up another Dole load to Wal-Mart in WI tonight at 22:00.

Tuesday, September 27th 2016

Then me and my codriver is here at US Foods in Salem VA. Got a few hours late for our appointment at 10:00 yesterday and it got even worse when I was too short on my 70 to make it all the way down here.

We checked in this morning at 6:00 and now we're just waiting to have then work us in. Next and last stop will be later today in Hickory NC.
