I think I've come to the conclusion that Pennsylvania had to be one of the worst states to drive in.
Now me and my copilot in the picture been out on the road for about two weeks and we got two weeks left before we go home.
We left home on August 13th and since then we've been in PA, NJ, NY, CE, MA, NH, ME, MD, VA, NC, SC, AL, MS LA, TX, AR, MO, IL and IN.
Tonight we are at Wal-Mart DC in Gas City IN, there's one more stop in Pottsville before we start on our next load from Souderton PA to Hickory NC.
Im here at the Loves in Aurora NE now. Parked around 1800 and there was few spots left. Once parked I could settle down with some dinner and watch Games of Thrones that I got from Walmart.
Unfortunately I forgot where I left of so I got season 3 while I acutally should have bought season 4. Kinds sucks, but not big deal cause I need to buy all the seasons anyway. Just wanted to start of with the season I hadnt finished first.
I still thinks the best scene is when Daenerys Targaryen gets her 8000 slave warriors and finishes the deal with that bald prick. I think I can watch that over and over again forever. Just loves it! :)
Oh and its my birthday today! :D
My deliveries around in LA made me a bit late, but I managed to pick up this load to Winco Foods just an hour late. Now I'm here in Boise ID and the load is delivered on time.
I love driving in the western states, but yesterday I got a load back to Harissburg PA which got canceled cause I was out of 70. Today I'm just chilling at the yard in Denver.
Went for some shopping at Walmart with some other drivers and lunch at Dairy Queen. Now I'm just done with a shower and waiting for my laundry to be done.
My next load is tomorrow at Greeley CO to Phoenix AZ so I'm happy. Seems like I get to stay out west a little longer.
It got late fast last night. After working myself through two accidents in North Carolina things got better, at least a few hours. Drove I77 north through Charleston and up to I70.
Had a 5 minute break at the last rest area before Columbus, then I continued towards Springfield when I ran into the third accidents (picture) on this trip. This one was really bad. Got stuck on the freeway for three hours without moving an inch. I fel asleep for an hour or so during that time.
It started moving again around 5am and I arrived at the shipper around 6. Slept two more hours on the shoulder, then woke up little before 8 and did my delivery.
Now I'm waiting to finish my ten hour break so I can pick up my next load to Dunkin Donuts NJ.
Accidents and accidents. Lots of them today and I'm gonna run out of hours. Crossing my fingers. It's 6pm now and I've got 460 miles left to go.
Good morning, parked early at this welcome center just outside Fredericksburg yesterday afternoon. All the slow moving traffic made me nuts.
Had a good night's rest and now getting ready to finish the rest of the trip to Wal-Mart South Carolina in Pageland. That's about 350 miles from where I'm at.
But first the daily pretrip....
Parked and went home after my delivery at Wal-Mart yesterday. Spent a few hours at home before heading back to work this Sunday morning. Was heading for Mt Holly NJ. Picked up a preloaded trailer at the terminal and went straight here. Now about 11 hours later I'm parked on the street. Lots of space to park inside, but they care so much about their precious property that they don't allow overnight parking. On a sidenote, this place sucks!
Got my 1 year anniversary gift from Knight today! Time goes so fast.
